Chris Christie’s embrace of President Obama following Hurricane Sandy seemed like political suicide at the time. I know that it was as far as I was concerned; a politician I once liked was all but dead to me.

Lately, however, I find myself in a forgiving mood, so much so that in fact that I’m becoming increasingly convinced that he may be the only Republican candidate capable of winning the general election.
